Colt Barrel
have original 1871 Colt revolver. 45cal. #151503 handles r worn but still see colt emblem 7.5″ barrel. value?
It has all matching numbers with slight ware at end of barrel, front end of the cylinder, and end of ejector shaft from a holster. Other than that, the bluing is 100%. There is some slight pitting on the barrel sides and frame. Three small notches are carved in to the front of the right handle. It has the original handles.
What you described is anything BUT 100%! Please properly describe the condition overall, including the bore, originality and so forth, and, the exact MODEL of the pistol. The SAA was an 1873 model (only one shipped that first year). There was also an “open top” Colt’s revolver shipped earlier, but I doubt that they were made in a serial range that high.
